Adeboye, otherwise known as Leke Adeboye, is the son of Pastor E. A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christain Church of God (RCCG). He is the youngest son and last child among four siblings. He is also the Senior Executive Assistant to his father, the General Overseer of RCCG.

RCCG (The Redeemed Christian Church of God) is a Pentecostal megachurch and denomination founded by the late Rev. Josiah Akindayomi in Lagos, Nigeria. Then, the denomination went by Egbe Ogo-Oluwa (Glory of God).

But after the death of the reverend on November 2, 1980, at the age of 71, Pastor E. A. Adeboye was ordained as the General Overseer of the church on January 21, 1981.

Since then, Enoch Adeboye has been the pastor of the RCCG church worldwide, and his youngest son, Leke Adeboye, helps with administrative duties at the most senior level.

Leke Adeboye: His Early Years

Leke Adeboye was born in Lagos on May 20, 1982, but grew up at the Redemption camp in Ogun State after his family moved there when he was 3 months old.

He started his secondary education at Command Secondary School in Apata, Ibadan, and afterward left to attend Kent Canterbury in England to complete his secondary education.

After finishing college, he enrolled at the University of Hertfordshire in England to pursue a degree in Aerospace Technology and Engineering. He later obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from Bournemouth University in England.

His Work

Work means ministry and business to Leke Adeboye.

Leke is an ordained pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Since his pastoral ordination in January 2008, he has held several ministerial positions and functions as a religious head in different capacities.

For one, he is the global director of the Pastors’ Seed Family, where he serves as a mentor, coach, and coordinator to a worldwide community of vibrant youth from over 26 countries.

He also shepherds RCCG, The Bridge, a youth church with a recent mandate to take the gospel to the lost soul. RCCG The Bridge is one of many Living Seed churches that caters to a vibrant generation of young adults. He is the head pastor of the church.

As he is fondly called, PLA serves as the Principal Executive Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He assumed the role with a clear call from God, not because of the family relationship they share.

Before he was appointed a PA to his father, he had worked at Accenture Consulting on a project with the Nigeria National Petroleum Commission (NNPC). He had also sat on the company’s board. His flair for business has made him an avid entrepreneur who collaborates with private and public institutions worldwide.

Leke Adeboye has a security and protocol expert and a security training academy called Lima. This organization has trained over 100 security and protocol officers and is renowned for excellence.

His Hobbies

Leke Adeboye has a passion for motorcycles and extreme sports. However, according to him, marriage has tempered his involvement in these activities. Leke also enjoys playing the drums in his free time.

His Marriage

Leke Adeboye married an excellent chef, Titilope Rachel Adeboye, on December 28. She is the CEO of OASIS Suya Eatery and Shawarma, as well as Mimi’s Confectionary.

Titilope Adeboye is a graduate of Mass Communication with a Master’s Degree in International Business at Loughborough University. Leke Adeboye’s marriage is blessed with three kids—Imisioluwa Adeboye, Adunoluwa Adeboye, and Elisha Adeboye.

His Family

Leke Adeboye’s immediate family consists of his father, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and his mother. Foluke Adenike Adeboye and his three older siblings, Adeolu Adeboye, Bolu Adubi (née Adeboye), and Dare Adeboye. But with the death of Dare Adeboye on May 4, 2021, Leke has two older siblings left.

Enoch Adejare Adeboye’s father is a Nigerian pastor and the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. But before this, he was a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Lagos. E. A Adeboye is recognized as one of the 50 most influential globally and cited as one of the top 100 most influential Africans.

His mother, Foluke Adenike Adeboye, is also a pastor. She is a televangelist, a conference speaker, and an author who works alongside her husband to grow the ministry. Her advice and mentoring have inspired millions of people all over the world.

Leke Adeboye has three older siblings: two older brothers and an older sister. His first older brother, Pastor Adeolu Adeboye. He owns Wise Man Apparel, a fashion company with offices throughout Nigeria.

His second older brother is Pastor Oluwadamilare Adeboye. Before his demise, he was the RCCG pastor in charge of National Youth Affairs. He was also the one who coordinated the entire Redeemed Campus Fellowship network across the country.

His older sister is Bolu Adubi. She is also an RCCG pastor, currently residing in America. Following the death of Dare Adeboye, one of his older siblings, Leke Adeboye, has two older siblings; an older brother and an older sister.

One thinks that since Leke Adeboye seems to be an influential personality, his net worth would be easy to determine, but that is not the case.

However, while deciding Leke Adeboye’s exact net worth remains challenging, the Adeboye family is currently regarded as a wealthy and famous family. Leke’s father, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, is worth more than $130 million.

Oluwagbemileke Adeboye is recognized as one of the 100 most influential Nigerians. He has accomplished more than most at a young age. He believes his drive for success is not because he competes with anyone but because his goal is to live entirely and die empty.
