What makes working in Brazil attractive?
As an employee in the Brazilian labour market, there are laws that protect you from an unfair treatment from your employer. During sick leaves, employer must pay the full salary for the first 15 days while social security benefits are paid to the employee after the 15 days.
After every 12 months working for any employer in Brazil, you are entitled to 30 paid vacation days. The vacation payment is equivalent to your monthly salary plus an additional 1/3 of your salary. There are also monthly benefits like meal voucher, health insurance, life insurance, and accommodation for certain companies.
There is also the 13th salary bonus that the law mandates all employers to pay their workers. This Christmas bonus that is equivalent to one extra salary every year is paid in two installments.
