2 Face currently goes by the stage name 2 Baba, but his real name is Innocent Ujah Idiba. He is a Nigerian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, humanitarian, and activist.

2Face’s Biography and Net Worth

2Face’s Biography and Net worth will be summarized in sections to highlight his successful journey.

His Early Life

2Baba was born on September 181975, in Jos, Nigeria. He is from the Idoma ethnic group in Benue State. Tuface had his secondary education at Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School.

Then, he proceeded to the Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), to earn a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management. However, he dropped out of school to pursue his music career.

His Music Career

One thing that makes 2Baba’s music unique is his vocal range, lyrical depth, and the passion with which he delivers his songs. You could tell that his musical love has been nurtured for a long time.

His music career started while he was attending IMT. 2Baba would perform at his school-organized shows, parties, and other regional schools like the University of Nigeria (UNN) and Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). In 1996, he started composing and singing jingles for the Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS).

As he gained prominence, he had a stage name to keep his personal life separate from his business life. So from that time until 2016, when he changed his stage name, he went by the name Tuface, which was most of the time spelled 2Face.

His Music Career in Plantashun Boiz

Leaving ESBS, 2Baba moved to Lagos and formed a trio band with Blackface (a student he met in secondary school) and Faze (a musician). The crew comprising all three of them, Blackface (Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo), Faze (Chibuzor Orji), and 2face (Innocent Ujah Idibia), was called “Plantashun Boiz.”

The band released two albums, Body and Soul (the year 2000) and Sold Out (the year 2003) before they disbanded in 2004 to start their solo careers. After an amicable reconciliation in 2007, they came together to record their last album, Plan B.
